Philip Whicher
Phil is an experienced Senior Consultant with approximately 30 years of experience in Programme and Project Management and Design Management within a diverse range of business sectors which has included working both overseas and in the UK. He has worked with many forms of procurement strategies including both PPP and PFI within the public and private sectors.
Phil joined initiate Consulting in September 2003 and was appointed Client Account Director in May 2005 playing a key part in the decision making process to influence the future direction of the company.
Phil believes that strong and pro-active programme and project cultures coupled with the use of proven methodologies and tools, underpinned by effective communication, is the key to achieving successful outcomes. Establishing effective Programme and Project Management Frameworks adds value by identifying, complimenting and utilising a Clients’ resident expertise and ensuring that the requirements and aspirations of Key Stakeholders are ultimately realised. His interests focus around the ability to appreciate the wider picture understanding legal, commercial and logistical issues in being able to deliver successful programmes and projects. Through his experience he brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of an entire supply chain when associated with the capital investment process.
